At a young age, Jeff heard the words of Horace Greeley echo in his head: “Go West, young man.” So, he took Greeley’s advice and moved to the Rocky Mountains in 1983.

Jeff spent the next thirty-five years exploring the Rockies, purchasing land, running the family cattle ranch, and managing and owning a car dealership.

One of his greatest joys has been hunting with his four children all over the Rocky Mountain Region for deer, elk, antelope, and bear. Traveling rodeos with his daughters and working cattle with his sons, the Western lifestyle is imbedded deep within his bones.

Jeff McKinney brings over thirty years of sales experience, a love and understanding of the West, as well as a passion for hunting and the great outdoors to Great Plains Land Company.

Meet Meredith

Growing up as an Army brat, Meredith traveled the world and calls the Rocky Mountain West the most beautiful place on earth. She and her husband Jeff raised four kids in Colorado instilling the Western values of grit, hard work and the can-do spirit that comes from cattle ranching.

Having invested in land and ranches all over the state, Meredith understands the unique challenges of land ownership in the West. As an agent for Whitetail Properties, she has the privilege of combining all the things she loves–people, ranching, and real estate.
